To effectively plan and implement the City’s capital improvement program by:                                                                                                                                                                                       
  • Developing an informed and coordinated long range strategy for the City’s capital improvement needs
  • Providing sound and responsive fiscal management of capital dollars
  • Supplying professional project supervision for construction projects                             
  • Efficiently obtaining needed resources, funds,  consultants, & contractors, for managed projects
  • Effectively communicating pertinent project and program information with elected officials, community groups, residents and other stakeholders
  • Building -- on time and within budget -- top quality construction projects that physically improve and enhance the City’s neighborhoods & its environment
  • Offering excellent customer service to residents, vendors and client departments
