HISPA - Miami Mentorship Program

(Miami, FL September 28, 2016) - The City of Miami-Office of the Mayor is partnering with HISPA (Hispanics Inspiring Students' Performance and Achievement) and launching a new chapter named HISPA-Miami to mentor middle school and high school students from our public schools.

HISPA focuses on identifying local Hispanic professional talent to mentor children and youth about the importance of higher education in order to break the cycle of poverty.  To start this project, HISPA-Miami will be working with two schools within the City: Kinloch Middle School and Miami Senior High. 
 
The Inauguration and Recruitment ceremony will take place at City Hall on Friday September 30th at 5:30pm
