City of Miami NET offices now offer
Golden Passport services

(Miami, FL November 10, 2016) - The City of Miami Neighborhood Enhancement Team (NET), is now offering three new convenient locations where local residents can easily register for a Golden Passport or Patriot Passport EASY card. That card allows a qualified resident to ride Miami-Dade Transit for free.

Miami-Dade Department of Transportation and Public Works along with the City of Miami NET are working together on this test project which begins Monday November 14th. It is designed to make it easier for residents to register for this County service at the following locations:

All NET offices are open Monday to Friday, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. They are closed on the weekends.
 
Golden Passport registration services include:

  • New applications for a Golden Passport EASY Card.
    • Permanent Miami-Dade residents who are 65 years of age and older, and those who are Social Security beneficiaries, may qualify for a Golden Passport EASY Card.

 

  • New applications for a Patriot Passport EASY Card.
    • Disabled veterans who are permanent residents of Miami-Dade County are eligible to apply for a Patriot Passport EASY Card. Veterans who are permanent residents of Miami-Dade County and whose annual income is $27,994 or less may be eligible to obtain a Patriot Passport EASY Card based on their military discharge category.
