Regular Garbage and Recycle Pick Up on Monday,
October 9, 2017, Columbus Day Holiday,
for City of Miami Residents

(Miami, FL October 5, 2017) -

The City of Miami Department of Solid Waste will be conducting regularly-scheduled garbage and recycle pick up on Monday, October 9th, 2017, Columbus Day Holiday. City of Miami residents whose garbage and recycle are always collected on Mondays should place their items out as they usually do.

Bulky Trash pick up will remain suspended until the completion of Hurricane Irma debris pick up. Residents are encouraged to dispose of their bulky items and debris at the Department of Solid Waste Mini Dump Facility which will be open on Monday. Please refer below for more information:

Proof of City of Miami Residency is required
 

Residents are reminded to:

  • Place garbage and recycle carts out in front of their home on the public right of way and away from phones/cable/electricity lines, under trees, utility poles, fire hydrants, fences, vehicles and/or 5 feet away from any structure.
